Argosy Reduces Delivery Time and Eliminates Inventory Challenges For Payment Processor
Situation:
This client manages and facilitates payment processing on behalf of retailers, financial
institutions, associations, and government agencies. They specialize in providing
integrated credit and debit card payment processing, electronic check conversion,
related software applications, and value-added services in the U.S.
The client outsourced
its warehousing and fulfillment for all marketing materials to a third party warehouse.
Over 100 separate marketing pieces were stored at this facility. Orders were placed
via a simplistic web-ordering system by approximately 40 sales people and office
managers throughout the country.
Challenge:
The complex ordering process caused inventory management problems and unacceptable
delays in turnaround. The system in place slowed results and inhibited growth.
Solution:
- Our Austin based Production/Fulfillment Center and the Argosy Team set up an Argosy
Storefront solution as the primary ordering and reporting tool. Immediately, the
order process was simplified.

and provided detailed reports.
- Argosy reduced turnaround times from multiple days to same-day order processing.
